The City of Saskatoon will be running altered hours at some facilities for Thanksgiving Monday on Oct. 8.
The Saskatoon City Hall building will be closed , as will all city libraries. The municipal impound lot will also not be releasing vehicles to the public that day.
The city’s landfill, garbage collection and compost depots will all operate under regular hours.
Saskatoon Transit will run on holiday hours. Access Transit will also operate on a holiday schedule, with those trips still needing to be booked in advance as usual.
The Saskatoon Transit customer service centre will be closed for Thanksgiving, but thephone line will be open from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
The Saskatoon Forestry Farm Park & Zoo will run under regular hours and the Remai Modern will be open from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m.
City golf courses will run under normal hours, weather permitting.
