The mercury in Saskatoon and Regina soared into record territory Thursday.
They were among nine communities across the province that set new temperature records.
Saskatoon reached 10 C, besting the previous mark of 8.4 C set in 2012, while the Queen City beat a record set in 1934 hitting 13.8 C.
Shauvanon was the warm spot in the province at 20 C, which was not a record.
According to Environment Canada more temperature records could fall in the coming days with above average temperatures forecast through the weekend and into early next week.
