The drugs are still missing, but a 28-year-old woman is facing charges in connection with the theft of fentanyl pills from a Regina pharmacy.
Regina police describe the crime as an “internal theft” at the pharmacy. A forged medical prescription was also passed off as genuine in order to get the fentanyl.
Lesly Anne Barabonoff was arrested on Wednesday and faces charges of: forgery, fraud and theft under $5,000.
