A joint operation between Blaine Lake RCMP, Saskatchewan RCMP Federal Serious and Organized Crime Unit and the emergency response team Friday lead to a large-scale marijuana grow-op at a rural property near Marcelin.
Mounties executed one warrant at the property about an hour north of Saskatoon seizing more than 7,000 marijuana plants.
Another warrant, for a home in Marcelin, turned up bank and phone records, a cell phone and laptop.
At the same time in Saskatoon RCMP with the help of city police searched a home on Perehudoff Crescent in the Erindale neighbourhood.
RCMP arrested three people in connection as the investigation continues.
