A section of Highway 10 was blocked off north of Balgonie overnight after a fatal collision late Wednesday.
RCMP say the collision happened around 11 p.m. A semi and a pickup truck collided about 13 kilometres north of Balgonie. The 45-year-old person driving the truck was pronounced dead at the scene.
Mounties couldn’t say if the man driving the semi was hurt.
Traffic was expected to be reopened by 9 a.m. Thursday. The semi had been hauling fertilizer and some had spilled into the ditch.
