Police have laid impaired driving charges after a single-vehicle rollover early Friday morning.
Officers were called shortly after midnight, arriving to find a vehicle flipped over on Circle Drive at Lorne Avenue.
The driver, a 25-year-old man from Wakaw, allegedly tried to flee the scene on foot just as police were arriving.
A police dog was brought in to track down the suspect, who was arrested a short distance away. He was checked by paramedics and found not to need any further treatment.
Police said the man will be appearing in Saskatoon Provincial Court next month.
