One day after a man’s body was discovered on Highway 4 just south of Battleford, RCMP have released the man’s identity.
The body of 33-year-old Merle Curley from Mosquito First Nation was found by a driver early Wednesday morning and reported to RCMP.
Officials believe a driver hit Curley then left the scene.
Curley’s family hopes by releasing his identity someone with information about his death will come forward.
