A Fox Sports broadcaster believes Saskatchewan is named after Sasquatches.
In a running commentary on an NBA game between the Utah Jazz and the Dallas Mavericks, one announcer said Saskatchewan is a region known to be home to a lot of Sasquatches. The other announcer expressed doubt, but the banter continued with the announcer insisting that the Sasktachewan is named for the mythical snow creature.
