RCMP have laid a charge after a child was hurt at an unlicensed daycare at a Pilot Butte home.
On Nov. 12, 2015, Mounties began an investigation after a 14-month-old girl was taken to hospital in Regina with “life-threatening” injuries. RCMP haven’t said what the injuries were, but say that the investigation revealed they were not accidental.
Terrie Lynn Olson, 44, has been arrested and charged with a count of aggravated assault. She’s out of custody with instruction to have no contact with the victim, and she cannot work at a place where she has authority of someone under 16.
RCMP say the toddler continues to receive medical care. Her name is not being released.
