Saskatoon police have ended traffic restrictions on Spadina Crescent East.
Officers were sent out just after 11:15 a.m. following reports of sections of guardrail hanging off the Train Bridge near the weir.
The police cruiser sent to investigate was damaged when one of those sections fell off, prompting police and CP rail to close the bridge to pedestrian traffic and detour traffic travelling underneath.
As of 2 p.m. Wednesday, southbound traffic on Spadina Crescent East was flowing again after the road was closed during repairs.
Pedestrians were not allowed on the bridge as work continued Wednesday afternoon.
