Saskatoon police are investigating the death of a 15-year-old boy earlier this month as a murder.
Shortly before 1 a.m. on June 3, police responded to a call of an injured male at a home in the 500 block of Avenue J South.
The 15-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene.
An autopsy was held the following day, however, his cause of death is not being released at this time.
The boy’s name is not being released at the family’s request.
Investigators do not believe this was a random incident.
This case marks the city’s fourth murder of 2018.
