The RCMP is searching for one man in connection with a violent sexual assault in Onion Lake Cree Nation.
According to a media release, a man with a weapon broke into a home in the community between 9 a.m. and 10 a.m. June 2.
Once inside the suspect sexually assaulted the only woman at home then ran.
The woman was taken to Lloydminster hospital for treatment of injuries from the assault and was released.
Mounties are asking anyone with information to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
The media release did not include a description of the suspect.
