There will be some changes coming in 2016 relating to pick-up days when it comes to garbage and recycling in Saskatoon.
It’s part of the city’s attempt to “improve reliability and reduce fuel and emissions,” according to its website.
Recycling will continue to be collected every two weeks.
Green cart no longer just for yard waste
Also in the New Year, people can start putting a lot more items into their green cart.
The city will now accept the following food waste:
The green cart costs $55 per season.
