More than a month after an armed robbery prompted a school lockdown in Hanley, Mounties are asking for the public’s assistance locating a suspect.
On Nov. 6 at around 11:14 a.m. a man walked into the hotel and bar in Hanley, Sask. and threatened an employee with a gun, demanding money. The suspect got away with cash and no one was hurt.
The suspect is described as Caucasian, about six-feet tall wearing a ball cap under a dark-coloured hood with a scarf wrapped around his face.
Upon hearing of the armed robbery the Hanley Composite School quickly went into a hold and secure mode, locking all exterior doors and windows. The hold and secure was lifted a few hours later.
RCMP provided pictures of the suspect. If anyone has information regarding this incident they are asked to call Saskatoon RCMP at 306-975-5145 or anonymously through Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
