A Saskatoon woman faces numerous charges after she allegedly pulled a gun on a cab driver, demanding a free ride.
Just after 3:30 a.m. Friday morning police said a 20-year-old woman hailed a cab in the 400 block of Third Avenue North. Once in the cab, the driver alleges the woman pulled a handgun on him, ordering him to drive her to a house on the 1200 block of 33rd Street East.
Police quickly located the woman and the handgun, placing her in handcuffs.
The woman faces charges including kidnapping, breach of undertaking and six gun-related charges.
Police said the cab driver wasn’t hurt during the incident. The woman will face a judge later today.
