An afternoon theft and a joyride have landed three kids aged 14-years-old and under in handcuffs.
On Monday at around 4 p.m. someone reported a stolen vehicle on Avenue N South to police. A few hours later at around 11 p.m. police spotted the vehicle several blocks away in the 800 block of Spadina Crescent West.
Police tried to get the youth to stop but they evaded police until they hit a parked car on Wellington Street. Four boys jumped out and ran off — but three were later nabbed by police.
They face charges including theft of a vehicle and dangerous driving. Police say a fourth youth is also expected to face charges.
