Harvest is well on its way to being done in many parts of Saskatchewan.
Dry weather this week has helped spur things along. Across the province, 74 per cent of crops are in the bin, with another 19 per cent ready to go – slightly ahead of the five-year average.
The southeast is furthest along, with 88 per cent combined, while the northwest is lagging behind, with 57 per cent combined.
Some areas had to contend with frost this week, though most of the damage was minimal because crops were already mature by then.
