The hold and secure at the Vibank Regional School has been lifted after a full day of classes.
The school notified the RCMP about a threat at 9:20 a.m. As a precaution, the school locked all the exterior doors; classes continued as normal inside.
RCMP officers were on scene as part of their investigation and lifted the hold and secure shortly before 3 p.m.
Because of the hold and secure, the Terry Fox Run for Cancer scheduled to take place at 11 a.m. at the school was canceled.
