Officers went to the 1600 block of 22nd Street West around 11 p.m. Thursday in response to a call of an armed robbery.
They arrived to find a man who’d been shot in the torso. He was taken to hospital and reported to be in stable condition.
Traffic was blocked off in the area until around 4 a.m. Friday.
