If you think a cab would make a good getaway car — think again.
Saskatoon police were called to a break-in in the 1400 block of Cairns Avenue just before midnight Saturday.
According to officers, three men forced their way inside and assaulted someone.
One suspect fled on foot, while the other two called a cab.
Police caught up to the taxi and arrested a 25-year-old and 33-year-old, who now face charges of break and enter and aggravated assault.
The younger man had an outstanding warrant, while the other breached court conditions. Both will appear in court Sunday.
Meanwhile, the suspect who ran away has not been caught.
The victim was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
