A man is dead after he was hit by a vehicle in north Saskatoon on Tuesday night.
Saskatoon police responded to the scene north of 71st Street on Wanuskewin Road around 8:20 p.m.
Police say the 43-year-old was walking southbound on Wanuskewin Road when he was hit by a half-ton truck going the same direction. A man driving the truck was the only person in the vehicle.
The driver is not under arrest nor was alcohol a factor, according to police. The man’s next of kin has been notified and police aren’t releasing the man’s name.
The incident is still under investigation.
