It appears thieves are keen to wrangle a free spare tire from Jeeps in Saskatoon.
On Friday, police said they’ve received numerous reports of spare tire thefts within the past couple weeks.
Jeep owners are being warned to take precautions, including buying a special lock to secure the spare.
Anyone with information about these thefts is encouraged to contact the Saskatoon Police Service at 306-975-8300 or can anonymously contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
