Battleford’s Court of Queen’s Bench is giving the public a first look into what RCMP officers saw when they responded to the shooting death of Colten Boushie on a farm near Biggar on Aug. 9, 2016.
Gerald Stanley, who owned the farm, is currently on trial for second-degree murder.
A series of evidence photographs taken by investigators that night and two days later was released to media on Jan. 31.
The photos detail the state of the grey Ford Escape Boushie was in, the firearms and ammunition found on Stanley’s property and more.
Combined with witness testimony from Stanley’s murder trial, the pictures detail different accounts of what happened the day Boushie died.
