Saskatoon police and firefighters dealt with a suspicious package scare Thursday morning.
Police and the fire department’s hazmat team were called out just before 10 a.m. to the Canada Post depot at 115 Avenue H South.
The fire department reported that a package containing an unknown white powder was found at the scene.
One employee was reportedly exposed to a small amount of the substance. That person was checked by a medical team at the scene.
The fire department secured the package and sent it off for testing.
Traffic restrictions in the area were lifted just after 11 a.m.
