Extreme cold warnings were issued for a large swath of the province on Friday.
With windchills reaching the -30 to -40 C range, Environment Canada issued warnings for large portions of central, southeast and northern Saskatchewan, including both Saskatoon and Regina.
The weather agency said temperatures this cold are a risk for people heading outside.
People are asked to dress in layers and take regular breaks from the cold.
