Two men were taken into police custody after at least 10 cruisers showed up to a home in northeast Regina Tuesday morning.
Neighbours on 7th Avenue East, just west of Cavendish Street, watched as police swarmed the area.
“(Police) had the door smash thing out to get down the door on the other side,” said a woman, who lives a few doors down, who asked her name not be published.
An SUV was also towed from the driveway of the home while officers were on scene.
Police said the men were arrested in connection to a robbery investigation from the past 24 hours.
Investigators are also looking into a possible link between two other robberies, including the holdup at a Smitty’s Restaurant.
As of Tuesday afternoon, no charges had been laid.
