An alleged break and enter has a 25-year-old man facing several charges.
Regina police were called to the 2600 block of Winnipeg Street Saturday night for the report of a weapons offence. They received information that two men entered a home carrying a gun and a baseball bat.
When police arrived they found a 23-year-old man who had been assaulted. His injuries were minor and he refused EMS.
Christopher Tyson Salateski is charged with assault with a weapon and break and enter, pointing a firearm, and disguise with intent.
Salateski made his first court appearance Monday morning.
The investigation is ongoing.
