Police are looking for an escaped inmate from the Prince Albert Penitentiary.
Lawrence Sewap was noticed missing during an afternoon check in the minimum security unit around 4:30 p.m. on Sunday. A warrant has been issued for his arrest.
He’s serving three years and nine months for aggravated assault, weapons possession, being unlawfully at large and obstructing a peace officer.
Sewap is 35 years old, 6 feet tall and 168 pounds. He has a medium complexion, brown eyes, brown hair and tattoos on both arms.
