Saskatoon police have arrested a woman who they say took a large knife on board a city bus Tuesday.
Officers were called to 20th Street West and Avenue S South around 7:30 p.m.
Once on the bus, police said they found a woman carrying a large kitchen knife — still in a sharpener — along with stolen clothing and jewellery in her bag.
Police charged the 47-year-old with possessing a dangerous weapon, two counts of possessing stolen property under $5,000 and a breach of probation.
She was also found to have an outstanding warrant for her arrest.
