An early morning fight on Dec. 1 appears to have taken a turn with the start of the holiday season.
Battlefords RCMP were called to a business on the Highway 16 bypass to deal with two men fighting – one of whom had been knocked out.
Police said witnesses told them the men were both inside the business when they got into an argument, which escalated into a fist fight.
When RCMP arrived, they found an unregistered vehicle belonging to the one of the men, but the two weren’t there.
A little while later, police patrolling the area found the two men walking side-by-side.
According to police, the men were now friends and officers were no longer needed.
