Black smoke, red flames and bright explosions could be seen in Kindersley’s industrial area after a warehouse fire Tuesday afternoon.
Firefighters responded around 4 p.m. to the blaze, which consumed a warehouse for oil industry materials like pipeline.
A video from Kindersley Fire showed the metal walls of the facility partially melting, while at least one explosion could be seen from inside.
The fire department asked the public to stay away from the industrial area along 7th Street W
est while crews handled the blaze.
The smoke could be seen kilometres away, with some drivers pulling over on the side of the highway to snap photos.
As of 5:40 p.m. Tuesday there was no information on any injuries related to the fire.
