War medals spanning decades and conflicts are missing after being stolen from a Kindersley home sometime over the weekend.
Kindersley RCMP said the break-in occurred at some point between Oct. 21 and Oct. 23, leading to the theft of war memorabilia and nine irreplaceable medals.
Among the items were seven British Army-issued war medals from the Gulf War, Bosnian War, United Nations, the Northern Ireland conflict, Iraq War and the Queen’s Jubilee. Two other medals from the liberation of Kuwait and the Gulf War of Saudi Arabia were taken.
RCMP are asking anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
