Saskatoon commuters will need to adjust their routes amid repair work on the Sid Buckwold Bridge.
Two northbound lanes on the bridge will be closed for up to three days between Oct. 18 and Oct. 20 to allow for repairs to the bridge’s expansion joints.
The work is expected to cause delays on Idylwyld Drive. The City of Saskatoon asked drivers to avoid the area if possible. Those with no other route to take were asked to follow posted signs and slow down for work zones.
Wednesday morning saw traffic in the area significantly backed up during the morning rush hour.
