Diesel leak reported after semi, minivan collide on highway

Emergency crews responded to a crash between a semi-truck and minivan east of Saskatoon Tuesday.

Saskatoon police were called at 3:30 p.m. to the scene at the intersections of highways 5 and 41.

Police said diesel fuel was leaking from the semi in the ditch.

MD Ambulance also attended the scene, but injuries are unknown at this time.

As of 4:45 p.m., traffic restrictions were in place and drivers are urged to find alternative routes.
