A collision between a pickup truck and car at the Circle Drive South off-ramp at 11th Street West led to fire crews having to assist a passenger after her door was smashed in Saturday night.
Saskatoon Fire said both drivers were already out of their vehicles when they arrived at 6:40 p.m. but a woman in the car’s passenger seat had to be helped out through the driver’s side door.
Family members told 650 CKOM the young woman had several broken ribs and two black eyes from the crash.
The driver of the car was also reported to have sustained injuries to her legs.
No word what caused the crash or if any charges are pending.
