The Office of the Saskatchewan Coroner has confirmed the identity of a Prince Albert man killed Saturday in a hunting accident.
Jordan Darchuk, 23, was pronounced dead of an apparent gunshot wound after emergency workers were called out to a field near Weirdale on Saturday.
Darchuk and another man, 22, had been hunting seperately in the area, according to RCMP. Police added that the two men did not know each other.
The incident was reported to police by the 22-year-old, who remained at the scene until officers arrived.
