Murray Wood: Of Easter bunny bells and Juicy Fruit gum

A Canadian Pacific Railway train carrying potash derailed southeast of Saskatoon Friday morning.
Around 35 rail cars left the track west of Blucher around 7:55 a.m.
Scott Willey lives on a farm off Blucher Road, where the train stopped. He came across the scene at around 9:10 a.m.
“I couldn’t even get home because the train is crossing the road,” he said. “The derailment is very close to the town of Blucher, right at the edge of our property.”
A CP spokesperson told 650 CKOM there were no injuries and no dangerous goods were being transported.
Blucher is located 43 kilometres southeast of Saskatoon.
