The Saskatoon Hilltops offense was flying from the opening drive in a 49-15 win over Ottawa in the home opener at SMF Field.
Saskatoon put up 28 unanswered points in the first quarter. It was 35-0 before Ottawa got on the board in the second quarter.
Running back Logan Fischer was dominant with a four-touchdown night. Jason Price, Sam Mike and Josh Ewanchyna added the other majors.
With the win the Hilltops are 3-0 to start the season and run its unbeaten streak to twelve games dating back to August of 2016.
After a weekend off, Saskatoon returns home to host the Regina Thunder in a rematch of a 37-20 Hilltops win at Mosaic Stadium.
