Saskatoon police have two men in custody after what looked like a drug deal late Friday night turned into a car chase.
According to police, the men noticed a marked patrol car during what officers believed was a drug transaction at 33rd Street and Idylwyld Drive just before midnight and got into a vehicle and drove off.
While trying to turn onto Jamieson Street from Idylwyld the suspects hit a boulevard and couldn’t drive away.
One man was arrested while the other ran.
Police caught the second man soon after.
The investigation is ongoing with charges pending.
