An incident early Sunday morning in the Mayfair area ended with firearm and drug charges for a 16-year-old girl.
Police were called to the 1700 block of Avenue B North at 12:30 a.m. for complaints a woman was laying on a sidewalk and shouting.
When they arrived they found the 16-year-old on the grass with a sawed off rifle, ammunition and methamphetamine.
She’s charged with two counts of careless use of a firearm, possession of a dangerous weapon, carry concealed weapon, unauthorized possession of a firearm, possession of prohibited firearm with ammunition, possession of a weapon obtained by commission of offence and possession of methamphetamine.
