A 24-year-old man has died after being hit by a vehicle on Big River First Nation Friday afternoon.
RCMP were called to the scene around 2:30 p.m.
The man was taken to a hospital in Shellbrook, west of Prince Albert, where he was pronounced dead.
RCMP said the victim’s name will not be released.
The driver of the vehicle was not injured and remained on scene until emergency services arrived.
No charges have been laid.
An investigation is underway for the cause of the accident.
Big River First Nation is located 131 kilometres northwest of Prince Albert.
