Police in Saskatoon seized more than 17 kilograms of illegal drugs, hundreds of thousands of dollars in cash, multiple firearms and a Hyundai SUV after raiding a home on Schmeiser Bend last Friday.
According to police, officers raided the home in the city’s Brighton neighbourhood just before 10 a.m. on Sept. 11. A 30-year-old man was arrested without incident, but police said a second man attempted to flee and was quickly arrested.

Police said officers seized two nine-millimetre handguns, a semi-automatic rifle, five “over capacity magazines” and ammunition, along with 7,789.99 grams of cocaine, 9,400.22 grams of methamphetamine and 760 Dilaudid 8 pills, a type of pain-relief medication.
Officers also seized $326,490 in Canadian cash, $1,460 in U.S. cash and a 2025 Hyundai Tucson SUV, police said.
“Warrants have also been requested for the arrest of a 30-year-old woman.”
The police force said all three suspects “have been charged with drug, weapons, and proceeds of crime offences.”
