2:30pm – Dohnte Meyers, Cincinnati Bengals WR & former Rider
Dohnte Meyers had a breakout season with the Saskatchewan Roughriders in 2025. He became a standout in the Riders receiving room on the team’s way to a Grey Cup championship. Now, after a stellar training camp and preseason, Meyers has made the Cincinnati Bengals 53-man roster. Dohnte Meyers joins Jamie Nye to reflect on his time in Saskatchewan and talk about his new role in the NFL!
3:00pm – Dave Naylor, CFL on TSN & Green Zone football insider
Dave Naylor with the CFL on TSN and our football insider on The Green Zone joins Jamie to discuss Labour Day weekend in the CFL and look ahead to the start of NFL regular season. CFL action gets going tomorrow with the red hot BC Lions heading to Montreal to take on the east division leading Alouettes.
3:30pm – Mark McConkey, Regina Rams head coach
Earlier in the week we got a preview of the U of S Huskies season from Huskies head coach Scott Flory. Now we turn our attention to the Regina Rams. Mark McConkey is the Rams head coach and he joins Jamie for a preview of the Rams season. Last season the Rams lost to the Huskies in the Hardy Cup, 25-24. Can the Rams regain top spot in the Canada West or will the Huskies remain the top dogs in the province?
4:00pm – Britton Gray, Green Zone Riders reporter
Britton Gray checks in with the latest from Saskatchewan Roughriders practice. Both KeeSean Johnson and Marcus Sayles were back practicing for the Riders. Also newly signed receiver Shemar Bridges was running with the 2s and Johnny Johnson was back with the starters.
