RCMP officers arrested a 23-year-old man on the Yellow Quill First Nation on Monday morning, leading to the seizure of several weapons.
Police said the weapons seized included seven guns, two air rifles and ammunition.

The man is now facing a number of weapons-related charges.
Police said was also arrested on a warrant issued by Rose Valley RCMP for assault with a weapon and robbery, among other charges. The charges stemmed from a June incident on Yellow Quill First Nation, according to police.
The man made his first appearance in Yorkton Provincial Court on Tuesday, the RCMP said.
Three charged after shooting at McKillop home
Three people are facing numerous charges following a shooting at a home in the RM of McKillop, north of Regina, Sunday night.
According to Southey RCMP, officers responded to a call at the home and learned that a group of people had an altercation with people inside. During the struggle, one of the men inside the house was shot, and the suspects stole items from the home before leaving in a vehicle.
The injured man was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
With assistance from Lumsden and White Butte RCMP, Saskatchewan RCMP Police Dog Services and Combined Traffic Services Saskatchewan, as well as the Regina Police Service’s Aerial Support Unit, the suspects’ vehicle was found at a home in Silton.
Three people were arrested at the home, and RCMP said a “sawed-off firearm,” multiple knives, a machete and brass knuckles were recovered.
A 31-year-old man from Hatchet Lake First Nation, a 43-year-old man from Prince Albert and a 37-year-old woman from Govan are facing firearms-related charges, as well as charges of assault and possession of property obtained by crime.
All three suspects made an appearance in Regina Provincial Court on Tuesday.
