Gun fired at home on Sask. First Nation: RCMP
The RCMP said officers are investigating after two people allegedly fired a gun towards a home on the Clearwater River Dene Nation.
According to a statement issued by the Mounties on Friday, officers were called to the first nation north of La Loche just before 6 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 22.
“Investigation determined two suspects attended a residential property and discharged a firearm at the residence,” the RCMP said in a statement.
“The suspects then left the area on an ATV. None of the occupants inside the residence at the time of the firearm discharge were physically injured.”
The RCMP said both suspects – believed to be a man and a woman – were wearing black clothing and had their faces covered at the time of the shooting.
