8:30 – The Canada-U.S. trade relationship has been doing a lot of back-and-forth this week, with tariff threats, negotiations and talk of a deal. Canadian Press Washington correspondent Kelly Malone has been on the ground in Washington following those developments, and she also travelled to Iowa to hear directly from American pork producers about the trade tensions. She joins us now to give us a look at what she’s hearing south of the border.

10:30 – At just 12 years old, Saskatchewan fiddler Cassian Owen is already competing at the national level, after taking first place in the 14-and-under traditional category at the Grand North American Old Time Fiddle Championships. Later this month, he’ll head to Alberta for the Canadian Grand Masters Fiddling Championship, following in a Saskatchewan fiddle tradition passed from one generation to the next — with his dad, Corey, playing an important role in his own musical journey. They both join Brent in studio.
11:00 – This Sunday marks exactly 150 years since Treaty 6 was first signed at Fort Carlton — an agreement that continues to shape relationships across Saskatchewan today. The anniversary comes as Wanuskewin Heritage Park begins a new chapter of its own, welcoming Jenaya Chutskoff as its new CEO. She joins guest host Brent in studio.
