Even though the Saskatoon Berries will be on the road for their first trip to the Western Canadian Baseball League final, fans will get the chance to watch Game 1 of the series together.
The Berries will host an official watch party Saturday night at Cairns Field, with the opening game between Saskatoon and the Sylvan Lake Gulls being shown on the big screen in right field.

Fans are encouraged to bring a blanket or lawn chair to sit in the outfield Saturday night as the Berries look to take a 1-0 series lead on the road at Pogadl Park in Sylvan Lake.
On Wednesday night, the Berries captured the WCBL’s East Division banner for the first time in franchise history with a 7-4 victory over the Moose Jaw Miller Express to advance to the league final.
The Berries also saw record-breaking attendance in their Game 2 victory over Moose Jaw, with 2,467 tickets sold for the series-clinching victory.
“I heard it was a record-breaking crowd (Wednesday),” said Berries designated hitter Nick Stinson after their win over the Miller Express.
“They were here early and we knew they were going to show up. Definitely a huge advantage for us, and I just can’t wait to get started in the championship.”

A concession will be open in the main plaza. No hot food will be served, but fans can bring their own food and empty water bottles to the watch party.
Admission to the Cairns Field watch party is free, though the Berries are asking fans to bring non-perishable food items to be donated to local food banks.
Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, with first pitch between Saskatoon and Sylvan Lake set for 7:05 p.m.
Following Game 1 in Sylvan Lake, the series will shift to Saskatoon for Game 2 at Cairns Field on Sunday at 7 p.m., with the Harry Hallis Memorial Trophy on the line.
