If you’re hitting the road in Saskatoon on Saturday, you may need to take a detour or two.
According to the City of Saskatoon, road closures will affect Broadway Avenue, 20th Street West and Melville Street this weekend.

Broadway will be closed from Main Street to 12th Street East starting at 5 a.m. Saturday to accommodate the Fringe Festival. That closure runs until Monday at 6 a.m.
Meanwhile, 20th Street West will be closed from Ottawa Avenue South to Montreal Avenue South for sewer work. That closure will be in effect from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday.
Also on Saturday, Melville Street will be closed between Jasper and Portage avenues to allow sewer work to be completed. That closure runs from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
“Closure end times are weather permitting and barring any unforeseen circumstances,” the City of Saskatoon said in a statement.
“Detour signs will be in place to guide motorists around these areas. The City thanks everyone for their patience.”
