Four more lives have been taken this week, after fatal crashes on Sunday and Monday.
Rosthern RCMP responded to a vehicle collision involving a pedestrian on Highway 212, about eight kilometres west of Duck Lake.

The pedestrian, a 33-year-old woman from Beardy’s and Okemasis Cree Nation, was declared dead by paramedics at the scene. Police say her family was notified.
Mounties reported that the driver involved in the incident stayed at the scene. Neither the driver nor the passenger reported physical injuries to police.
Rosthern RCMP and a Saskatchewan RCMP collision reconstructionist are still investigating.
On Monday, Maple Creek RCMP learned of a collision around 3:20 p.m. between two vehicles on Highway 1, near Piapot.
“Investigation determined a semi was parked on the side of the highway and an SUV collided with it,” the RCMP stated in a release, shared on Tuesday.
“Three occupants in the SUV were declared deceased by EMS at the scene. They have been identified as a 49-year-old female, a 72-year-old female, and a 75-year-old male, all from Estevan, SK. Their families have been notified.”
Paramedics brought a fourth person in the SUV to hospital with serious injuries. The driver and passenger in the semi did not report injuries to police.
Highway 1 has since reopened, after being closed for some time after the crash. Maple Creek RCMP said it continues to investigate, alongside a Saskatchewan RCMP collision reconstructionist.
These latest crashes come within days of the fatal crash involving a Saskatchewan Roughrider and a 22-year-old man near Lumsden. Both men died in the collision.
