“For many members of Team Canada, Glasgow will be their first opportunity to experience a major international Games environment,” said Team Canada chef de mission Erica Wiebe.
“For others, it is another opportunity to represent Canada on one of the sport’s biggest stages. Together, this team reflects the very best of our country and I know Canadians will be proud of what they accomplish in Glasgow.”
Canada’s contingent of 149 athletes will begin competition in Glasgow on Thursday.
